Professional Background

I am a post doctoral student, clinical psychologist working in Rome and in San Diego. Licensed psychology’s in Rome, Italy. I have been working in the mental health field since 2007 and received training as a clinical psychologist in Australia, America and Italy.

I have trained in different approaches: integrative approach, CBT, psychodynamic, attachment theory, play therapy, in-depth , dialectical behavior, EMDR, among other evidence based models. I have experience working in multidisciplinary settings providing collaborative quality care and psychotherapeutic treatment.

I have trained in Hypnobirthing to help pregnant women and couples, and support couples who go through infertility difficulties. I work with LGBTQI individuals and also help them through transitioning and/or coming out process. I work with individuals who are struggling with eating disorder and with children and adolescents with behavioral problems.

I love my job, I love supporting individuals, families and couples in need. I believe that therapy, even if at time a long process, is an amazing path to growth.

I am a bilingual clinical psychologist Italian and American, who works with individuals form children, to adolescents, to adults, supporting parents, and working with couples and families. In the past, practiced in a wide range of settings from working residential, to inpatient to outpatient environments, for non-profit and for-profit agencies.  My experiences include treating clients dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, stress management, self-identity/esteem issues, anger management, trauma, eating disorder. I have trained in administering batteries of psycho educational testing, and I have worked with couples and families addressing struggles with adjustment to transitions; phase of life, of parental separation and blended families, and co-parenting.


Getting Personal

In my leisure time, I love spending time with my family, with my son and most of our time is spent in nature where I recharge my batteries. I enjoy reading in fact I also use books and therapeutic tool, I love traveling, I love spending time with my friends.
